What We'll Bring:
We are looking for an FP&A Analyst in our Global Finance Shared Services (GFSS) Center in TransUnion's Global Capability Center based out of Pune, India. This role will be part of the team which deliver FP&A related work to our global business/ segments on a matrix basis. The individual will support and partner with the respective business/ segment FP&A team primarily in the U.S. and work closely with other teams in GFSS. For the first year, the role will be focused on supporting GFSS FP&A capabilities by documenting processes and assisting in the establishment of the process foundation; identifying opportunities for greater efficiency and looking for ways of continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring:• Understand and assist in preparation of budgeting, forecasting financial performance, and conducting variance analysis. • Understand and assist in monitoring and managing budgets to ensure financial targets are met and develop an understanding of insights on deviations. • Understand and assist in preparation of accurate and timely financial management reports and analysis for internal stakeholders. • Assist in identifying, assessing, and managing financial risks that may impact the company's performance. • Understand and assist in preparation of financial models to analyze various scenarios that support decision-making. • Understand and assist in preparation of cost analysis to optimize expenses and improve overall operational efficiency. • Understand and assist in preparation of utilizing financial data to forecast trends, identify opportunities, and support decision-making. • Prepare the documentation for the processes and keep looking for avenues of continuous improvement • Completing the assigned work accurately & in a timely manner • Ensure completion of deliverables as part of the corporate/ segment accounting close, monthly forecasting, quarterly earnings, and annual planning processes • Ensure that deliverables adhere to a high standard for quality and consistently meet the deadlines that facilitate the global processes • Be a team player and proactively raise a flag to avoid issues relating to accuracy or timeliness • Align with team priorities and ensure that SLAs are met • Participate in initiatives across the GCC and GFSS, especially in FP&A team • Keep looking for areas of improvement for efficiency, standardization, and scale • Work towards learning new skills which align with FP&A delivery
Impact You'll Make:
Experiences You Will Bring • Qualified commerce graduate, preferably a Chartered Accountant/ MBA (Finance) with finance & accounting experience of 3+ years extensively in FP&A processes • Being a team player delivering on FP&A processes, including monthly variance analyses, revenue and expense forecasting, and annual plan development • Create value-added analyses and presenting the findings through written and verbal communications • Experience of operating in a complex, fast-paced organization with associates based across the globe Capabilities You Will Bring • Prioritize deliverables to meet schedules/ work deadlines • Deliver the day-to-day responsibilities • Have an attitude to develop/ possess high attention to details, while maintaining the ability to achieve objectives • Keep the team leader/ manager in loop • Work with other team members and assist, if needed, to accomplish meeting the objectives • Good written and verbal communication with an ability to articulate with confidence • Be collaborative across functional teams, levels of the organization, and countries across the globe • Positive attitude, curious to learn and looking for areas of improvement • Working knowledge of ERP systems (viz. PeopleSoft/ Oracle), MS Office, OneStream/ Hyperion and Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, etc.) will be a plus Reporting Structure • Matrix reporting to the Lead FP&A in GFSS and also to the respective FP&A corporate/ segment FP&A Leader • The GFSS FP&A team will support Corporate/ various segment finance teams on a matrix basis
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
