We are looking for a Senior PS Consultant (Android Solutions) to contribute to the development, customization, and delivery of Android‑based embedded automotive solutions.
In this role, you will:- Analyze, monitor, and enhance the performance and quality of Android‑based embedded automotive applications.
- Maintain and improve product quality to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Apply best engineering practices to increase and ensure code quality, participating actively in code reviews and development activities.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into high‑quality, customized solutions.
- Design and implement software systems, enhancements, and new solution components across the full SDLC.
- Troubleshoot issues in testing and production environments, providing effective and timely resolutions.
- Support customer operations and enable engineering excellence for internal and external customers.
- Mentor and guide team members as needed
You are an experienced Android engineer with a passion for building scalable and high‑quality embedded solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of experience in embedded solution development, with strong exposure to Android platforms
- Proficiency in modern programming concepts and languages, including object‑oriented design, design patterns, Kotlin, and Native Android development
- Experience with Flutter/Dart or C++ is an added advantage
- Deep understanding of Linux systems and/or the Android Open‑Source Project (AOSP)
- Exposure to JavaScript/TypeScript and React.js is a plus
- Hands‑on experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) and familiarity with tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to perform detailed technical analysis
- Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of location‑based services such as mapping, GPS, navigation standards (e.g., NDS, TPEG), embedded hardware test environments, or HTTP REST service development is highly desirable
