Role - Sr Data Analyst / Business Analyst
Description: Candidate will be working as a Senior Data Analyst/Business Analyst on the company’s Enterprise Data Warehouse applications and support Regulatory Reporting Systems.
Qualifications:
Minimal experience of eight years in IT or Financial Services using the following skills:
8 years of experience with Microsoft SQL.
8 years of data analysis experience with significant exposure to Enterprise data warehouse environments.
4 years of financial services experience.
6 years of Excel experience. Skills should include advanced functions like pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.
2 years of experience with SCRUM or Agile processes and tools like Azure DevOps.
Experience in API testing/verification using tools like Postman, Swagger.
Experience in ETL processes and Reporting, with hands-on experience in tools such as SSIS, SSRS, Power BI is a plus.
Lead requirement gathering sessions and create functional specifications, data mapping documents, and business process flows.
Analyze data from various sources and validate its accuracy, completeness and consistency within the data warehouse.
Perform root cause analysis on data issues and drive resolution through coordination with technical teams.
Support Project lifecycle from discovery and requirements gathering to testing, deployment and post-implementation review.
Excellent written and verbal communication. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to clearly and completely communicate and interact with stakeholders, peers and other team members around requirements, business needs and processes.
A strong understanding of IT systems, databases, and software development processes (e.g., Agile, Scrum) is crucial.
While you don't necessarily need to be a developer, you should be able to communicate effectively with technical teams and perform SQL operations effectively.
