The Senior QA Engineer will contribute to testing Platform products in wireless telecom and cloud solutions, working with internal teams and remotely. Responsibilities include creating test plans, designing automated tests, analyzing logs, validating defects, and continuous improvement of product quality through automation.
We are looking for a talented and driven Senior QA Engineer to work at our Pune, India site. The position includes contributing to the testing of Platform products for wireless telecom and cloud-based cellular solutions of Parallel Wireless working both internally and with test engineers across parallel wireless sites. This offers a great opportunity to learn and contribute to the ORAN Wireless Technology.
What you'll do:
- Work in Agile based software development and testing cycle.
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback and implement the same in testing.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases for Platform products and execution of the same with Test to Break attitude.
- Design and build end-to-end test setups based on the test requirements.
- Analyze and debug logs for test simulators and systems under test during the test cycle.
- Analyze, reproduce, and validate customer-found defects.
- Verify Parallel Wireless Platform Products and Applications for Functional, Stability, Performance, and User experience aspects based on Customer Use cases
- Contribute in regression testing in each release cycle.
- Suggest improvements and changes to the product in order to improve quality and customer experience
- Should communicate effectively with local and remote teams of QA, Dev engineers.
- Suggest improvements in automation coverage to achieve fully automated regression testing.
- Automate test cases/modules using Pytest framework for API based/backend components.
- Automated test suites execution in Jenkins based CI/CD environment.
- Review the code and design of the Automation Infra engineers
- Optimize and consolidate future requirements and enhancements
