Clario is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our R&D Software Engineering team in India. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and delivering software solutions that power our global clinical trial technology platform. You will help shape product architecture, mentor junior engineers, and build scalable, cloud-enabled applications that accelerate life-saving treatments to patients worldwide. What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable software solutions within an agile framework
- Contribute to product architecture and collaborate with leaders on project planning and execution
- Conduct peer code reviews, promote best practices, and share technical knowledge across the team
- Partner with Software Quality Engineering to maximize test automation and embed quality throughout the development cycle
- Apply advanced knowledge of software design patterns, frameworks, and methodologies to deliver robust solutions
- Provide technical mentorship to junior team members and foster a culture of continuous learning
- Support DevOps practices and contribute to the adoption of cloud-based solutions
- Document processes, manage risks effectively, and support cross-functional collaboration across Clario
What We Look For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Proven expertise in software design, coding, debugging, and implementation across multiple platforms
- Strong experience with Source Code Management tools (e.g., Git) and work item tracking systems
- Hands-on knowledge of unit testing, test automation, and design patterns
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
- Exposure to cloud-based software development (AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including fluency in English
