What You'll Do:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing finance/accounting team in Pune. In this role, you will play a key part in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), reporting, and decision support for our expanding SaaS business.
Here's a closer look at this key role:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to drive strategic decision-making.
- Conduct variance analysis and identify trends to explain financial performance.
- Support the development of annual operating plans (AOPs) and quarterly forecasts.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed.
Financial Reporting:
- Analyze and interpret financial results, providing commentary and insights.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Assist with the preparation of presentations for management and board meetings.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of financial policies and procedures.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, ideally in a SaaS or technology company. Experience working in a large accounting firm is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Experience with various systems (e.g., NetSuite, Adaptive, Workday, Snowflake, Salesforce) is a plus.
