As part of the QualysGuard engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and creating highly dynamic and scalable microservice-based web applications built on top of Java backend services and libraries, Kafka, Cassandra, Oracle, Elastic Search, Redis, and ReactJs for front-end.

You will be working with your team members and collaborating with other engineering teams and product managers to understand customer requirements and create a cross-browser dynamic interface with rich user interaction capabilities.
Responsibilities
-
6 to 10 years of experience in Sr. Frontend Engineering.

Design, develop, and deliver web-based applications and services using Java, JavaScript, ReactJS, Hibernate JPA, Spring boot/Guice, REST API, Oracle/Cassandra, Kafka, Elastic Search, Redis

Deliver new features and improvements in a fast-paced environment as part of a growing engineering team

Work closely with product manager and cross-functional groups to develop product requirements.

Research new technologies and incorporate their usage into new products or services.
Preferred Frontend skills
-
Substantial experience in building large complex and performant web applications using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS across multiple browsers.

JavaScript expert! Firm grasp of functional and OO JavaScript. Proficient in native JavaScript as well as one or more frameworks such as Ext JS, Angular, ReactJS, etc.

Good knowledge of CSS fundamentals

Deeper understanding of Chrome Dev Tools. Should understand nuances of the timeline for perf monitoring. Proficient with debugging and testing tools to troubleshoot and optimize the UI.

Deeper Knowledge and a good understanding of different frontend architectures.

Deeper understanding of network layer, HTTP, HTTPS, cookies, local storage, and a good understanding of front-end security best practices and XSS, CSRF, etc

Good knowledge of UI optimizations and performance
Other Requirement

Knowledge about Core Java, Spring Boot, and Maven.

Knowledge about SQL, and REST endpoints.

Good understanding of unit/integration test frameworks

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Nice to have knowledge about Jenkins, Docker, containers, and Micro Service deployment.
