The Sr. Manager, Infrastructure & Regional IT manages IT infrastructure budgets, oversees billing, leads IT projects, and ensures collaboration for business continuity.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the budget for IT infrastructure services, including hardware, software, maintenance costs, and billing management.
- Monitor and track expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines and identifying areas for cost optimization.
- Collaborate with finance teams to create financial reports, forecasts, and cost-benefit analyses for IT infrastructure projects.
- Conduct regular financial reviews and provide recommendations for improving financial efficiency.
- Oversee the billing process for IT infrastructure services, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing to clients or internal departments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish billing procedures and pricing structures.
- Monitor billing data, resolve discrepancies, and address any billing-related inquiries or issues.
- Identify opportunities to streamline the billing process.
- Coordinate and collaborate with relevant teams to develop and maintain business continuity plans for IT infrastructure services.
- Conduct risk assessments, identify critical infrastructure components, and establish recovery strategies to minimize downtime during disruptive events.
- Test and update BCP procedures and documentation regularly to ensure their effectiveness and alignment with industry best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct training and awareness programs related to business continuity and disaster recovery.
- Lead and coordinate IT infrastructure projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation measures to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business stakeholders, to ensure effective project execution and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Manage IT infrastructure vendor services contract renewals.
- Conduct vendor service assessment to identify opportunities for service improvements and cost savings.
Requirements
- Good communication skills, written and verbal.
- Excellent Data Analysis and Management Skills
- Excellent documentation skills – capability to manage and process formal documentation
- Project Management Experience
- Experience in financial data management
- Overall 10-15 yrs experience in IT PMO role. Since job will involve dealing with IT Components (Infrastructure and Applications), engaging at Senior Management level, person should have sufficient exposure in similar role. Person should have flair to collaborate.
