We are seeking a Product Management Senior Manager to lead the product team responsible for the strategy, roadmap and performance of the cloud-based applications that deliver these solutions that leverage public record and proprietary non-FCRA data assets.
Responsibilities include owning the vision, strategy, roadmap, prioritization, performance and lifecycle management of these important assets for the enterprise. The role will lead a focused product team that will influence and partner with the global technology architects, development leads, agile teams, solutions and product managers, to ensure that Specialized Risk products and solutions deliver the performance and value expected by our customers. This includes understanding market and customer needs, the competitive landscape, and a vision for the integration of new technologies into a global architecture. This position will define the roadmap to deliver and maintain industry-leading performance objectives, while working equally with business, data and global technology stakeholders to ensure Specialized Risk Solutions has a vision for our platforms that successfully delivers strong business growth.
A top candidate has a broad base of experience across data processing and delivery platforms. Their passion is collaborating with stakeholders, gathering, evaluating, and understanding markets, technology needs, and data use-cases, as well as a mindset that drives continuous improvement. This candidate will demonstrate not only strategic, forward thinking and roadmap planning, but the ability to partner with global architecture teams, work effectively with matrixed and shared service partners to execute and ensure ongoing performance of the platform vision.
The Specialized Risk Group is unique within TransUnion as its product suite is derived exclusively from non-FCRA data sets. Managing and leveraging one of the industry’s most robust public record and proprietary data sets, the SRG solution suite serves a variety of industries, from Financial Services, to Insurance, Retail, Collections, Healthcare, Real Estate, Law Enforcement, and more. Our web, mobile app, API, batch, monitoring and triggers platforms help address critical business needs from fraud prevention and investigations, identity verification, skip-tracing, right party contact and TCPA compliance.

What You'll Bring:

Responsibilities:

• Leads the strategy, roadmap, migration, and management of Specialized Risk application and data platforms that power and deliver our full suite of solutions to over 30 industries; to ensure we maintain a competitive product portfolio for both internal and commercial use cases; develops business cases and advocates for investment as needed
• Partners with other product managers, data acquisition, data strategy and technology teams to ensure alignment and attainment of product roadmap and market objectives
• Leads their team of product owners and the cross-functional teams to ensure progress and alignment across the groups
• Monitors and analyzes product and data performance, financials, KPIs, customer feedback, and the competitive landscape to identify strengths, gaps, threats, and opportunities in any part of product suite delivery
• Participates in Agile ceremonies, influences PI Objectives and Release content via prioritized features and enablers; has scope of authority for setting PI priorities; influences feature acceptance criteria & jointly accepts as done with Product Owner
• Spends time with internal and external stakeholders capturing VOC and applying design thinking principles to understand their problems and needs; works with other product management teams writing comprehensive product epics and defining solution intent and high-level capabilities
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the broader product experience and use this knowledge to develop comprehensive pilots, validations, and other forms of discovery

Impact You'll Make:

Required Experience:

• 8-10 years of Product and/or Data Management experience or comparable experience in a related field whereas data products are developed/improved in a systematic and customer-centric manner.
• Experience with extensive and diverse data warehouses/ data lakes supporting consumer and/or business solutions
• Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree is preferred.
• Senior team lead or management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and priorities in a medium sized or above corporate environment with matrixed shared services.
• Agile familiarity

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
