Responsibilities:
• Design, implement and support cloud services that comply with the organization's network, security, and technology standards. Automate provisioning of cloud networking services using Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation Templates, Azure Resource Manager Templates) and GitOps techniques.
• Create, maintain, and update detailed service design, architecture, usage, troubleshooting, support, standard operating procedures and project artifact documentation.
• Provision, manage and troubleshoot the cloud environment's core network services such as AWS Transit Gateway, AWS VPC, AWS Security Groups, AWS Route 53, AWS ELBs, AWS Private Endpoints, Azure VNETs, Azure NSG, Azure Private DNS, etc.
• Develop and maintain current knowledge of cloud providers' service offerings in the network, IAM and compute domains. Leverage knowledge of cloud provider offerings and the organization's cloud usage to identify cost and performance optimization opportunities.
• Partner with stakeholders to plan and execute configuration changes to capture savings and benefits.
• Develop and maintain automation for daily routine administrative tasks.
• Continuously develop knowledge and technical subject matter expertise by remaining apprised of industry trends, the direction of emerging technologies, and their potential value to the business.
Required Qualifications:
• Intermediate level of knowledge and skills in Infrastructure as code technologies such as CloudFormation, Terraform, ARM templates.
• Demonstrated understanding of:
o Foundational Cloud technologies such as IAM, Networking, Security and Compute
o Cloud DNS technologies such as Route 53, Azure DNS, Azure Private Resolver, etc.
o Load balancing technologies such as AWS-ALB, AWS-ELB, AWS-GLB, AZ-Traffic Manager, AZ-Application Gateways
• Programming Language: Python, PowerShell, etc.
• 3-5 years of industry experience with 1+ years of experience in Cloud Networking and related service (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Strong analytical and customer service abilities.
• Ability to communicate and articulate technical information across various organizational levels.
• Strong thought leadership abilities and a highly innovative problem solver.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Firewalls – ANF, AWS Security Groups, Azure Firewall, Palo Alto,
• Load Balancing - F5-LTM, F5-GTM
• DDI - Infoblox, CloudFlare
• DDoS – AWS Shield, Akamai, BT
• Routing, Switching
• Network monitoring, Cloudwatch, NetFlow, capacity and performance management.
