The Commercial Pricing and Contracting team is looking for a Senior Pricing Analyst to collaborate closely with commercial leadership and field teams. This role encompasses full-spectrum support for pricing and contracting activities, including in-depth reporting and analysis, contract oversight, and strategic business decision support. The ideal candidate is a driven professional with strong technical and analytical expertise, proven leadership abilities, and exceptional problem-solving skills. They should excel at managing multiple priorities in a multifaceted, fast-paced environment; be process-focused with a commitment to continuous improvement; and possess outstanding interpersonal skills for effectively engaging with sales executives and other customers.
What will you be doing?
- Provide pre-contract support to sales teams through detailed sensitivity analyses, including pricing and revenue modeling, profitability assessments, and evaluation of revenue risk exposure. Manage the pricing approval process in alignment with business unit guidelines and through the contract management system.
- Develop, analyze, and distribute contract-specific performance reports and trend analyses to sales organizations in a timely manner. Leverage data from the contract management system and create customized reporting as needed.
- Offer strategic guidance to sales personnel regarding the intent and parameters of available sales programs and guidelines, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Assist in the preparation of RFPs and contract proposals by supporting the development of customer-facing materials and coordinating contract documentation requirements.
- Deliver account-level and contract-specific sales reporting to field sales teams and external customers to support data-driven decision-making.
- Use contract management tools and adhere to established corporate sales operations processes to equip sales management with the insights needed for informed decision-making, revenue optimization, and post-contract compliance monitoring.
- Maintain extensive knowledge of contract terms and obligations to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of all contractual requirements.
- Find opportunities and contribute to the implementation of standard methodologies, processes, and tools that enhance the efficiency, consistency, and quality of the contract lifecycle. Drive improvements in sales support execution and overall productivity.
What will you need to be successful?
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, finance, or marketing, or equivalent experience.
- Should have a minimum of 5+ Years of proven experience in pricing and contracts business.
- Strong strategic and critical thinking abilities, with an innovative approach to problem-solving.
- Analytical approach with the capability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal direction.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all work.
- Effective multitasking and prioritization skills to manage competing deadlines efficiently.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- High sense of urgency and capacity to manage and complete a large volume of work within tight timeframes.
- Proven experience in successful cross-functional collaboration across various departments and teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
- Solid understanding of contract principles, terminology, and concepts.
- Proficient in creating presentations and visualizing data using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
