What's the role?
We are looking for a automation Quality Assurance Engineer in our Indoor team. In this role you will be
- Responsible for planning and implementing test cases for various HERE Indoor products and components. While following the HERE Test Strategy, you pick the best testing methods and industry practices to be used to test the HERE Indoor products.
- You have passion for test automation and play a key role in implementing the practices that ensure that our software delivery quality is at the right level all the time. Ultimately, you are responsible for signing software releases off from the QA perspective.
- You collaborate with the other QA professionals across the HERE Indoor teams to share the best practices within the HERE Indoor QA community. Quality is a team effort.
- Your expertise ensures high-quality software releases, seamless automation workflows, and a superior user experience
Who are you?
You are a passionate Automation QA Engineer with a strong background in test automation. You hold a BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
Your Expertise & Responsibilities:
- Proficient in End-to-End Testing Frameworks: Skilled in Cypress and other automation tools.
- Test Strategy & Planning: Selecting the right tools and methodologies to test software components efficiently.
- Requirement Analysis & Test Planning: Reviewing product requirements and developing comprehensive test plans.
- Test Implementation & Execution: Writing and implementing test cases for newly developed features.
- Reporting & Documentation: Preparing detailed test reports, keeping test plans and release quality reports up to date.
- Quality Metrics & KPI Tracking: Measuring and reporting key product KPIs to assess software quality.
- Collaboration & Best Practices: Working closely with peers, sharing best practices, and improving testing processes.
- Issue Investigation & Troubleshooting: Analyzing customer complaints and non-conformance issues to improve product reliability.
- Test Automation Development: Creating and maintaining automated test procedures for system, integration, and performance testing.
- Version Control & CI/CD Integration: Hands-on experience with GitLab and other repository tools.
