Sr Software Engineer (UI/UX Designer)

What's the role?
The UI/UX Engineer is responsible for designing intuitive, user-centric interfaces that improve usability, simplify complex workflows, and deliver a consistent digital experience. The role works closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable, accessible, and visually appealing product designs while ensuring seamless implementation and continuous user experience improvements.
Key Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, user-centric, and visually appealing interfaces for enterprise web applications, ensuring a consistent and seamless user experience.
• Translate business requirements into user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineering, QA, and business stakeholders to design user-centered solutions that align with business goals.
• Develop and maintain scalable design systems, reusable UI components, and design standards to ensure consistency across products.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and design reviews, incorporating user feedback and analytics into continuous product improvements.
• Design responsive and accessible interfaces following modern UI/UX principles and WCAG accessibility guidelines.
• Create detailed design specifications and work closely with frontend developers to ensure accurate and high-quality implementation.
• Utilize modern design tools and AI-assisted design technologies to improve design efficiency, innovation, and productivity.
• Document design requirements in JIRA and actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and design discussions.
• Stay current with emerging UI/UX trends, design methodologies, and best practices to continuously enhance the user experience.

Who are you?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or UI/UX, with 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong experience designing modern, responsive, user-centric web applications with excellent usability and accessibility.
• Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, color theory, iconography, layout principles, and responsive design.
• Hands-on experience building AI-powered user interfaces, including AI chat interfaces, intelligent dashboards, AI copilots, workflow automation, recommendation systems, and conversational experiences.
• Experience using AI-assisted design tools such as Figma AI, ChatGPT, Claude, Galileo AI, Uizard, Lovable, Bolt.new, v0 by Vercel, or similar tools to accelerate design ideation, prototyping, user flows, and design validation.
• Strong proficiency in responsive design, mobile-first development, cross-browser compatibility, and scalable component-based architecture.
• Experience creating and maintaining design systems, reusable UI components, style guides, and component libraries.
• Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles, interaction design, information architecture, visual hierarchy, typography, color theory, and user-centered design.
• Experience with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design and prototyping tools.
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG), inclusive design principles, and responsive design.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working closely with Product Owners and Backend Engineers in cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge and experience in Quality management, End-to-End quality test strategy and Six Sigma will be a plus.
