We maintain physical offices in Austin, San Francisco, New York City, Seattle, Los Angeles, and Chicago in the U.S., and in Gurugram (Delhi) and Bengaluru in India. If you’re located near one of these offices, we would love for you to spend time in the office regularly. Some roles are hybrid or in-office by design. For example, our engineering team in India works primarily from our Gurugram office.
About the Opportunity:As a Staff Accountant, you will provide thoughtful and accurate accounting support to the Controller and VP of Finance, including taking ownership of certain key deliverables.
Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial records.
Process and record financial transactions in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records for audit purposes.
Proficiency in Netsuite or Quickbooks and Google Sheets/Excel
Minimum 3 years of proven experience serving in a staff accountant or similar role
Strong attention to detail, time-management skills, and accuracy
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently on multiple projects with minimal supervision, while knowing when to ask for help when needed
