What You Will Be Doing
- Implement and manage security tools and processes within the CI/CD pipeline.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure secure software development practices.
- Conduct security assessments and code reviews to identify vulnerabilities.
- Automate security testing and monitoring to detect and respond to threats in real-time.
- Develop and maintain security documentation and policies.
- Stay updated with the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions.
- Monitor security alerts and incidents, and respond promptly to mitigate threats.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.
- Implement and manage security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS).
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure security best practices are followed.
- Perform root cause analysis of security incidents and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Stay informed about the latest security threats and trends.
What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Atleast 8+ years of work experience in similar field
- Proven experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Experience with security tools (e.g., SAST, DAST, vulnerability scanners).
- Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proven experience in security operations or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of security technologies and tools (e.g., firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS).
- Experience with incident response and threat hunting.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
