REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience 7+ years
• Strong experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence), both in Data Center and Cloud environments.
• Proven hands-on experience using Atlassian migration tools, such as: Jira Cloud Migration Assistant (JCMA), Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant (CCMA) and REST APIs for migration and configuration
• Deep understanding of User and group management, Permission schemes, workflows, and custom fields and App configurations and third-party add-ons.
• Familiarity with migration planning, risk assessment, and performance tuning during large-scale migrations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to data integrity, app compatibility, and performance issues.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders and coordinate across teams.
• Experience migrating or integrating Bitbucket and other third-party Atlassian Marketplace apps.
• Scripting or automation experience using Python, SQL, Groovy, or similar.
• Atlassian certifications (e.g., ACP-100, ACP-120, ACP-500) are a strong plus.
• Excellent communication skills and client exposure.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Excellent communication skills and client exposure.
• Plan, lead, and execute end-to-end Atlassian Data Center to Cloud migrations, including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
• Assess existing environments to identify risks, challenges, and dependencies, and develop tailored migration strategies.
• Perform pre-migration analysis and cleanup, configuration review, and data validation.
• Ensure smooth execution during migration windows, troubleshoot issues in real-time, and provide post-migration support.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (IT, security, development, business units) to ensure minimal downtime and alignment on migration goals.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for migration processes, configurations, best practices, and lessons learned.
• Provide input on Atlassian Cloud optimization and adoption post-migration.
• Creating, understanding and validating WBS and estimated effort for given module/task, and being able to justify it
• Addressing issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement
• Giving constructive feedback to the team members and setting clear expectations.
• Helping the team in troubleshooting and resolving of complex bugs
• Coming up with solutions to any issue that is raised during code/design review and being able to justify the decision taken
• Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
