Role

The Strategic Finance team at Glean is dedicated to addressing some of the company's most critical business challenges. This team is in charge of managing the company's budget, driving quarterly and annual planning processes, efficiently allocating and deploying the company's resources, conducting financial analyses in collaboration with all departments across the company, and playing a crucial role in solidifying the foundation of our financial and operational data integrity and enabling strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have the technical expertise to support their recommendations, manage stakeholders, engage with senior leadership, address critical business issues, and be involved in all business aspects.

What you will do and achieve

  • Engage with the business to manage headcount and expense forecasts, own monthly financial reporting, KPIs, presentations, and other critical analysis requests
  • Establish key hosting and LLM cost efficiency metrics across products, and regularly monitor, analyze, and report on these metrics to drive improvement
  • Engage in all finance-related activities, including FP&A, financial operations, and both regular and ad-hoc reporting and analysis to drive strategic business decisions.
  • Partner closely with the SalesOps team to audit business activity and assist with ARR reporting
  • Work closely with strategic finance, accounting, and GTM teams to align product and GTM strategies with broader financial goals and considerations.
  • Establish and implement scalable reporting dashboards and scorecards to track key operational and financial metrics

Ideally, you would have:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, FP&A, or Data Analytics field — preferably for a B2B and/or SaaS business
  • Strong project management abilities, ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets, critically evaluate current processes, and identify opportunities for process enhancement.
  • Expert financial modeling experience with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent presentation and writing skills and the ability to clearly communicate messages that link business issues, financial results, and strategy at the executive level
  • Exceptional work-ethic with a mindset towards process development and scalability
  • Willingness to work 3 days a week out of our Bangalore office

Nice to haves:

  • Strong knowledge of Google Suite
  • Experience in SQL and Business Intelligence tools such as Sigma
  • Experience of different systems such as Salesforce and Netsuite
