The Growth Enablement Team (GET) is a robust sales support team with the goals of improving sales experiences, efficiency, and win rates. GET provides support across several key pillars: sales education programming; sales technology, reporting, and analytics; sales prospecting; sales opportunity support (RFPs, orals); and sales asset content and visual design. This remote team consists of US-, Canada- and India-based team members that support all industries and capabilities within Huron.
The Strategic Sales Associate role is part of our India-based GET. Individuals in this role are expected to in dependently lead the completion of activities or projects that help with prospecting activities, including researching, creating target lists, qualifying leads, crafting outreach messages, understanding and following market and customer news and trends, supporting account planning efforts across all industries and capabilities.
Responsibilities
This senior analyst will play a crucial role in supporting activities that help our sellers generate sales leads and prospects in the hopes of converting them to customers. The strategic sales senior analyst is expected to assist in multiple projects simultaneously, supporting other HEI team members and prospecting activities across multiple industries. and work with a full team of sales support members focused on strategic sales support. The candidate is expected to perform the following activities:
Prospecting Support
• Helping create or validate contact and leads lists for accuracy
• Creating relationship maps to help understand connections amongst sellers and customers
• Set up and maintain alerts to identify major events at key accounts
• Monitor executive moves across industries
• Perform market research through available resources and provide relevant industry news to GETs and sellers
• Use data tools and technology (e.g., RelSci, ZoomInfo) to help identify target accounts or lists or outreach based on specific criteria.
• Manage leads generated from events and ensure they are properly categorized.
• Conduct market, competitor, and customer research to identify new opportunities and stay informed about industry trends.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities. Generate reports to support sales strategies and decision-making.
• Be able present data findings and insights during sessions and sellers communication
Account Planning:
• Help maintain enterprisewide tools and training used for our key accounts program
• Assist in the development and maintenance of key account plans and/or deliverables that support those plans.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to understand progress and success of sales in key accounts
Additional Strategic Sales Support and Team Initiatives:
• Act as the point of contact for sellers and supporting GET Team for India, handling queries, concerns, and feedback.
• Coordinate, build and maintain strong relationships with sellers to foster trust and collaboration.
• Work closely with sales, marketing, and other departments to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in prospecting and lead generation activities.
• Assisting with GET improvement initiatives outlined in GET’s annual plan, as needed
Position Requirements
This position will require excellent attention to detail, expertise in MS applications, particularly Excel and Outlook, and excellent organizational skills. The candidate must also be deadline—and detail-oriented and able to collaborate across all levels and roles.
• Minimum of 1-3+ years of relevant business experience
• Proficient in written and oral English
