SERVICE & STOCK MANAGEMENT:
• Ensure the best service level of regional suppliers to all worldwide VS customers with optimized inventory at the most optimized  cost level
• Ensure suppliers monitoring, and for all VS divisions:
o Following-up capacity and delivery planning (participation to SIOP / MPS of the plant), analysis of sell-out, forecast and forecasts consumption.
o Maximizing the customer service rate (CSR, CBO)
o Optimizing the level of stocks
• Maximize supplier service rate
• Support and facilitate relationships with regional suppliers
 
TRANSPORT & PHYSICAL FLOWS MANAGEMENT:
• Facilitate Transport Inbounds & interVS Management
• Facilitate physical flows management
 
PROCESS MANAGEMENT:
• As integral part of company’s key business process systems’ selection, implementation, and execution, document and share “best practice” methods, processes and ideas across the business’s supply chain operations to drive continuous improvements in all aspects of business operations.
• Support divisions to develop procurement standards and processes.
 
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:
• Ensure support & respect of timing on new business growth with regional MKT teams on new business development (new flows creation, new suppliers )
 
COMMUNICATION:
• Communicate and escalate properly to management related topics to regional suppliers and divisions
• Communicate to local/regional executives team in divisions

 
Main Responsibilities (Tasks):
Scope for all responsibilities described below: Regional suppliers assigned to the collaborator, for all VS divisions.
 
PROCUREMENT: 
 
• MRP, day to day tasks:
o Calculate purchase programs in quantity at part number level on a minimum horizon of 13 weeks (MPS horizon) for internal or external suppliers ; for all references of the supplier: regular, Kanban / VRO references, direct deliveries, …
o Calculate Inter-VS purchase programs in quantity at part number level on a minimum horizon of 13 weeks
o Use alert reports to detect and act on risks of shortages and on risks of overstock at part number level
o Use indicators to identify and implement improvement action plans
o Manage priorities with supplier based on customer backorder level
o Through regular and collaborative communication with suppliers, ensure that suppliers are respecting the 
o purchase forecast validated in SIOP (MPS loop)
 
 
• InterVS (flows between VS divisions):
o Ensure Inter-VS order matching, create/modify orders
o Use CBO and overstock killing between VS divisions
 
• Parameters: validation of logistics parameters defined by the Data Manager (Safety stock, Kanban loops, Logistics Box, …)
 
• Improve logistics parameters: Pull-Flow deployment, LT and MOQ reduction, replenishment frequency increase
 
• Participate with Valeo Purchasing department to Suppliers reviews for the Logistic part.
 
• Each Supply-chain analyst could also lead projects to implement business improvements.

 
TRANSPORT & PHYSICAL FLOWS:
Support operations + problem solving on all transport flows from or to Region, support transport optimization analysis + change implementation

 
SUPPLIER S&OP:
 
• Structure:
o Create an MPS / SIOP process to be discussed with the supplier on a monthly / weekly basis. This process should help make decisions on supplier’s side and on VS arbitration.
o Continous improvement of  the structure, integrating new division, new data.
 
• Coordinate: 
o Animate regular reviews with suppliers Aftermarket sales contact.
o Make the link between the different department involved and alert if any deviation.
 
• Communicate: 
o Share with people concerned the update of MPS / SIOP outputs.
o Monthly update to management on evolution of stock projections.
 
• Process:
o Animate the process writing and update each process whenever necessary.
