Your Team:
We are seeking for a highly skilled and experienced Performance System Architect to join our NI (Network Intelligence) architecture group. The ideal candidate will lead the design and evolution of our enterprise systems. This role requires deep expertise in system security posture, cloud-native architecture, infrastructure technologies, and modern CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with hands-on technical capabilities and a passion for building scalable, secure, and resilient systems.
Your Role: As a Cognyter you will:
- Architect and optimize systems for performance, scalability, and reliability across different cloud native technologies and virtualized environments.
- Design and guide the load testing, benchmarking, and performance tuning of critical infrastructure and applications.
- Design and implement observability solutions using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Open-Telemetry, or similar.
- Develop strategies for resource management, including dynamic scaling and auto-scaling based on demand and performance metrics.
- Define best practices for monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
- Analyze system bottlenecks and propose architectural improvements.
- Define required system specifications according to testing conclusions.
- Work closely and collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to ensure systems are designed with performance and observability in mind.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies in observability, performance engineering, and cloud native infrastructure.
Your skills: for that Mission you’ll need to have:
- Proven experience as a Performance Engineer with 8+ years in large-scale environments.
- Strong understanding of load testing tools and benchmarking methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with observability platforms and telemetry pipelines.
- Deep knowledge of cloud-native architectures and auto-scaling mechanisms (e.g., Kubernetes HPA).
- Strong understanding of networking, and virtualization technologies
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with configuration management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- An endlessly curious mind with a drive for new challenges
