What you'll be doing:

  • Work on complete Product life cycle of GPU and in process design, develop build and improve GPU System software.

  • Partner with Software, Hardware and Architecture teams to influence functionality of next generation GPU, one of the best in the world.

  • Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and system software teams to define end‑to‑end thermal management flows, including active cooling strategies for GPUs, SoCs.

  • Influence hardware sensor architecture, firmware interfaces, and board‑level cooling design to deliver best‑in‑class thermal performance and acoustics

  • Triage and debug the complex issues with in NVIDIA's GPU driver stack.

  • Partner with cross‑functional groups worldwide to deliver production‑ready solutions, from early bring‑up to final product tuning.

  • Required to lead and mentor engineers.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years of relevant proven experience.

  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.

  • You have strong experience in system software, device drivers, and experience in building embedded products.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and passion to learn new technology.

  • Phenomenal teammate, Comfortable collaborating with various teams SW, HW, QA, etc distributed across the globe to deliver solution.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks while ensuring a high quality of work.

  • Proficiency in C, and low‑level hardware/software interaction.

  • Strong debugging skills in Windows, Linux or real-time OS environment.

  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills; ability to work with globally distributed engineering teams.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Understanding of thermal management, including sensors, power/thermal limits, throttling algorithms.

  • Familiarity with active cooling components such as fans, fan controllers, and their firmware interfaces.

  • Experience with I²C and I³C communication buses for sensor bring‑up, debugging, and data acquisition.
