We are seeking a Talent Manager who will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a growing organization. A broad role encompassing all talent activities across the employee lifecycle from hire to retirement. You bring broad HR knowledge across business partnering, people operations, L&D and talent acquisition. You will build strong relationships across the team to help them feel supported and empowered. You will have outstanding stakeholder/time management skills, where you will be the point of contact for all things Talent.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of HR operations across Vietnam, Thailand & Malaysia, including recruitment, onboarding, professional development, performance management, employee relations, compensation & benefits and compliance
Partner with production facility leadership teams to align HR strategies with operational goals and workforce planning specific to manufacturing environments
Support workforce planning and labor management for production teams, including shift scheduling, headcount forecasting, and seasonal workforce needs
Manage and ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, contributing to the development of relevant policies and procedures, employment frameworks and reporting requirements
Own and execute full recruiting cycle; Partner with leaders to assess staffing needs, create job descriptions, advertise & recruit, interview and hire new employees and contractors
Provide timely HR support, advice and guidance to people leaders and employees on all HR related matters across Vietnam and Thailand
Partner with people leaders to strategically assess talent and create development goals and plans for employees that support organizational growth
Drive a strong performance culture and support managers with performance management, up to and including termination processes
Provide strategic HR guidance, coaching and support to the leadership team
Conduct investigations related to employee relations concerns such as complaints, conflicts and misconduct
Prepare and execute employee onboarding and offboarding procedures to deliver a seamless employee experience
Drive participation and engagement across business initiatives, strategies and programs across HR
Administer and proactively monitor workplace health & safety, including risk assessments, incident investigations and training
Collaborate with EHS and operations teams to ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and promote a culture of safety in production facilities
Ensure compliance with labor laws and factory audit requirements specific to production environments.
Maintain accurate employee records and general HR-related reports
Support Compensation & Reward benchmarking and analysis to support develop competitive compensation package structures that help to attract and retain top talent
Collaborate and work cross-functionally across HR tasks such as payroll, budgeting and compliance matters
Manage and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives, while exhibiting a flexible and innovative approach to support business goals
Support implementation, engagement and participation of L&D, engagement and training programs
Proactively identify efforts to drive efficiency and effectiveness within the organization
Stay informed and up to date across employment legislation and regulations to ensure compliance
Champion a positive and inclusive workplace culture
Support ad hoc projects as required
Qualifications and Attributes:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in generalist, advisor/business partner and/or employee relations or similar
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field
Deep understanding of local HR practices, employment laws and regulations
Experience supporting HR functions in manufacturing or production environments is highly desirable.
Fluency in English, additional language skills relevant Southeast Asia will be advantageous
Critical thinking, problem solving and continuous improvement mindset
Experience advising managers through complex employee issues & solving workforce challenges
Ability to adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities, accepting responsibility for results of actions
Ability to build productive cross-functional partnerships
Driver of change – identify the opportunity and recommend solutions
Top notch communication, extremely organized, exemplary time management skills
Self-starter, able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment with a natural ownership mentality
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment autonomously
Capable of working in a dynamic environment with multiple project deliverables, meeting deadlines even when the timeframe is demanding
Positive, can-do attitude with strong initiative and follow-through
