Objective of the role:
- 1 to 3 years of post-qualification and experience working with US Taxation.
- Assist in preparation of federal and state tax returns including analysis of book-tax differences for Forms 1065, 1120S, and 1120 (C-Corp).
- Hands-on experience in preparing individual tax returns (Form 1040) and related IRS-compliant documentation.
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of US Tax Codes.
- Prepare and review estimates and extension vouchers for federal, state, and city tax returns.
- Review subsidiary workpapers for Earnings & Profits (E&P) and Schedule M adjustments.
- Support accurate and timely tax reporting under US GAAP.
- Assist in preparation of income tax provisions and tax account reconciliations.
- Apply commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the field of US taxation.
- Conduct tax research and stay informed on current tax law changes.
- Review and prepare responses to information requests from leads and engagement teams.
- Demonstrate ability to deliver complex solutions independently.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Coordinate with tax accounting teams to ensure efficient integration of tax accounting and international tax compliance processes.
- Maintain detailed tax workpaper documentation to substantiate filings and positions.
- Participate in internal tax community practice initiatives.
- Manage multiple engagements simultaneously and communicate effectively with domestic (US) engagement teams.

- Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to co-ordinate & interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
- Strategic creative thinking to generate impact on the results. A proactive mindset and keen analytical ability attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient understanding of MS Excel and ability to create models as required.
- Analytical skills and good attention to detail, motivation, and confidence to independently address issues.
- Ability and willingness to finish the assigned work timely with expected quality
- Self-accountability - more of pro-active approach, less follow-up needed, take ownership in the assigned activities, self-motivated and willingness to take initiatives.
