Partner with the best
Working under the direction of a PLM Enterprise Architect, the Solution/Software Architect will lead the functional & technical design & configuration of Teamcenter applications. You will be responsible for:
- Leading architecture and implementation (development and testing) of Teamcenter PLM functionalities with extensive knowledge on configuration and customization solutions, across multiple domains of PLM including variants & options; Part, BOM and Document Management; Classification; Change Management and CAD/ERP/MES/CRM integrations.
- Assessing and defining business processes, use cases, user stories and system cases for PLM functions.
- Coordinating requirements with functional groups and driving future state recoupling of identified use, process, and system cases.
- Leveraging PLM industry best-practices for process and tool, and in-house global process strategy, to define and document new business processes, data models and application configurations. Build To-Be map of processes, systems and tools.
- Applying hands-on experience in Java, Teamcenter BMIDE, Microservices, Cloud, and Federated architectures in development and leading the development and testing resources.
- Understanding and take into consideration, risks, costs, benefits and possibilities offered by customization vs. configuration. Produce documented application frameworks or architectures. Author functional specifications and technical design.
- Collaborating with onsite & offshore teams driving project collaboration and concurrent global product development.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Be a graduate in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Engineering from an accredited college or university
- Have minimum 7 years of design/architecture, development & deployment experience in enterprise level Teamcenter production implementations.
- Have Working knowledge of AWS (Active Work Space) and BMIDE (essential); ITK customization or portal customization; programming languages such as Java, VB, XML, XSTL, C, C++; application servers; J2EE; Oracle; Unix O/S, Linux, SiteMinder; LDAP; SOA; messaging, and physical architectures.
- Have done large end to end implementations (including infrastructure design) of Teamcenter.
- Have Working knowledge and design experience of Teamcenter foundational modules such as (but not limited to) Document Management, Change Management, BOM Management, Collaboration, Rich Client Interface, Structure Management including variants and configurations, Workflow Management, Classification, and Data Security.
- Have Experience in CAD, ERP, MES, and/or CRM integrations via Siemens AIG or other middleware integration platforms.
- Have Demonstrable Product knowledge across at least two products and Teamcenter roadmap, for example Teamcenter Requirements Management; MBSE/Systems Engineering; Manufacturing/EasyPlan, Service Lifecycle Management, Simulation Data Management/TC-SIM, and/or Product Cost Management.
- Have Knowledge and/or experience in building Mendix applications.
- Have Proficiency in MS-Office tools
- Be willing to travel globally.
