Lead and troubleshoot large-scale network operations (>1000 devices). Manage and operate network security devices (Check Point, Zscaler, Bluecoat, F5), routing and switching, VPN/IPSec, Nexus and Cisco platforms, NAC, wireless, packet captures, network automation, and related tooling for configuration, BAU rule updates and incident resolution.
Job Summary
Minimum 8 years of hand on experience working in large Network Operations (>1000 devices) environment as a level 2 NOC engineer role or above
Expert network security devices handling for both setup and operaitons support:
o Expert knowledge on CheckPoint Firewalls in terms of troubleshooting issues and also BAU rule base updates. NAT, application/URL filtering IPS, and other blades
o Expert knowledge on Zscaler Internet Access / Bluecoat ProxySG product in terms of troubleshooting whitelisting issues, SSL interception, cert validation etc.
o Expert knowledge on F5 APM, LTM, GTM, configuration and troubleshooting. Expert knowledge on Routing (e.g. BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, PIM, GRE, VRF etc.), Switching (VPC, STP, etherchannel etc.), configuration and troubleshooting.
o VPN technologies experience be it IPSec using firewalls, routers or other interoperable devices, both setup and troubleshooting
o Nexus 9K, 7K, 5K, and 2K & Cisco ISR4K, ASR, & Citrix SD WAN
configuration and troubleshooting.
Good Knowledge on Forescout NAC
o Cisco Wireless & Aruba Wireless LAN configuration and troubleshooting.
o Knoweldge on analyzing packet capture/wireshark output
o Knowledge on supporting McAfee NSM and IPS sensors
o Knowledge on supporting HP Network Automation (HPNA) Tool
o Knowledge on supporting Cisco ISE / Cisco ACS & Azure networking (VNET peering, ExpressRoute, NSG etc)
