Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technical professionals, ensuring the successful execution of projects while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. This role requires a deep understanding of the Aerospace and Defense industry, along with excellent leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of technical professionals in the Aerospace and Defense sector.
• Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular team meetings to track progress, address challenges, and celebrate successes.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, including safety and quality assurance protocols.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing technical inquiries and providing updates on project status.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Prepare and present technical reports and documentation to stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong knowledge and experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a technical team.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with software development processes and tools.
• Experience in systems engineering and integration.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements specific to the Aerospace and Defense sector.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5 7 years of relevant experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
• Proven track record of successfully leading technical teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile) are a plus.
