What will you do?
As a Technical Lead for DevOps, you will be at the forefront of integrating and automating processes across the software development lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to streamline deployment pipelines, enhance system reliability, and ensure optimal performance of our solutions.
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment.
- Evaluate and implement DevOps tools and techniques to improve system efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with software engineers to streamline system integration and deployments for various applications.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability of services.
- Drive practices for ensuring security, compliance, and best operational practices across our infrastructure.
- Mentor and train team members on DevOps best practices and tools.
- Work with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, etc.) and manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in the DevOps space and evaluate their potential applicability.
Requirements
What do you bring to the table?
- 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps or systems engineering.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI or similar.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Proficient with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and infrastructure as code (IAC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Hands-on experience with Linux system administration and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
- Comprehensive understanding of networking, security, and system architecture.
- Experience monitoring systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and provide innovative solutions under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in regulated environments (such as healthcare or life sciences) is a plus.
