Key responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust Python-based test automation frameworks.

Lead and manage end-to-end testing activities, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

Continuously enhance Python-based automation tools and frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.

Accountable for product quality within one or more domains.

Responsible for supporting the growth path of QA Engineers.

Review and provide feedback on test plans, test cases, and scripts written by the team.

Define and implement QA best practices, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
What will you do?

You collaborate with Technology & Product stakeholders to ensure that our products meet the quality needs of our customers.

You design and implement processes to meet this quality bar with our team of QA Engineers (automation and manual) using industry-standard frameworks and tools.

You provide direction in building tools, frameworks, and other infrastructure needed to support test automation.

You provide guidance and coach the team of both manual and automated QA engineers.

You stay up to date with new emerging trends in the testing landscape, proactively evaluating and improving our testing methodologies.
What do you bring to the table?
-
You are an outstanding QA automation engineer with 8+ years relevant experience in test automation.
-
Proficiency in Python for test automation and scripting, along with strong experience in Databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) for data validation and testing.

You have a Bachelors or Master degree in computer science.
-
You have a strong understanding of software development and test automation principles, such as BDD & TDD. You have experience in working in continuous integration and continuous delivery environments.

Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman, or custom scripts is essential, as well as expertise in load testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.

Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium for web UI testing along with knowledge of Docker for testing in containerized environments. A solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and the integration of automated tests.

Hands-on experience in testing cloud-based applications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)- experience with cloud services like AWS Lambda, S3, RDS, or Azure equivalents.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good communication (written and verbal) skills.

Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to coach other engineers.

Experience in developing software in a regulated environment is a plus.
