Role SummaryWe are seeking a Salesforce Technical Lead with deep expertise in Sales Cloud to lead the technical delivery of commercial initiatives. This role is pivotal in ensuring scalable, high-quality Salesforce solutions aligned with business goals. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, and external partners, to manage the Sales Cloud backlog and drive continuous improvement.
Note: This role is exclusively focused on Sales Cloud; however, it will require collaboration with teams managing Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (MCAE), Net Zero Cloud (NZC), and various other integrations with Sales Cloud.
THE ROLE & KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSales Cloud Leadership: Lead the design, development, and deployment of solutions within Salesforce Sales Cloud, ensuring alignment with commercial strategies.
Backlog Management: Own and prioritize the Sales Cloud backlog, working with business stakeholders to refine requirements and translate them into actionable user stories.
Sprint Leadership: Oversee sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives. Ensure timely delivery of features and resolution of blockers.
Technical Oversight: Collaborate with developers and architects to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions. Review designs and provide technical guidance.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary technical point of contact for Sales Cloud initiatives. Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with integration leaders to guarantee effective governance and management of integrations, including NZC and MCAE.
Sales Cloud: Full ownership, management and delivery responsibility.
Sales Cloud Integrations: Facilitate collaboration and offer support to product teams.
5-10 years of declarative or programmatic development experience in Salesforce
Proven experience as a Sales Cloud Tech Lead or Senior Admin/Developer
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and integration patterns.
Hands-on experience designing, building and deploying custom objects, fields, validation rules, flows, Apex code, etc.
Required Salesforce certifications: Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder and Sales Cloud Consultant. Additional certifications are a plus.
Experience with agile methodologies and sprint management.
Experience managing with Azure DevOps.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work across time zones and lead distributed teams.
Desire to continue learning Salesforce with support from the business to pursue further certification opportunities.
