The incumbent will be responsible for development of PTC's Windchill. This position is based out of PTC’s Pune R&D facility.

S/he will be primarily responsible for designing and implementing projects in Java, other related technologies

and for coordination with Product Management, QA, other cross functional teams.

 Job Responsibilities include:-

- Interactions with other development groups, QA, Product Management

 - Prepare work estimates for assigned project and tasks- Develop iterative prototypes when appropriate

- Completes all work according to schedule requirements

- Write well documented performing code including source code documentation that meets organizational standards

- Run unit tests and deliver automated tests to QA for inclusion in a regression testbed when appropriate

- Acquire knowledge necessary to perform job assignments (technology, product and process)

 - Resolution of software defects (all aspects from evaluation, fixing, workarounds, unit testing) as per organization guidelines.

- Provide timely and complete information to the QA group to facilitate formal testing ·

- To perform the functions of the job as per instruction and pre-established guidelines.

 The skills required for this position are : Bachelors in Computer Science or related discipline. 5-7 Years Programming Experience - of which minimum 4+ years should be in developing Java applications.

Ability to work independently.

Resourceful.  Excellent problem solving and verbal and written communication skills.

 Added advantage - knowledge of SCRUM/Agile development methodology, experience in product development, knowledge of Oracle or SQL Server, exposure to Web Technologies like JSP/Servlet, Javascript, REST, etc.
