The Technical Lead is responsible for delivering full-stack features, delegating tasks to AI agents, and ensuring production-ready code through rigorous review processes, while working with both legacy and modern parts of the platform.
Job Description:
Senior Engineer (Full-Stack)
Work closely with the Team Lead and Product Owner to ship features across a JavaScript/TypeScript stack, operating at Level 3 AI maturity from the outset. This is not a role for engineers who use AI primarily as an autocomplete tool — you will be expected to delegate, review, and ship at the pace that Level 3 enables.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver full-stack features across the codebase — frontend (React, HTML5 Web Components, legacy jQuery) and backend (Node.js, Nest.js, REST APIs)
- Delegate scoped development tasks to AI agents and review generated outputs at the PR level within GitHub Actions CI/CD workflows
- Write precise, context-rich prompts that direct AI agents to produce usable, production-ready code with minimal iteration
- Work confidently across both legacy and modern parts of the platform without requiring a clean separation
- Participate in structured knowledge transfer sessions with CLIENT's team in the first weeks of the engagement
- Raise blockers and delivery risks clearly and promptly to the Team Lead
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of full-stack engineering experience in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Minimum AI Maturity Level 3** — you delegate scoped coding and implementation tasks to AI agents, review at the PR level, and can demonstrate meaningfully higher velocity as a result
- Hands-on experience with React and Node.js/Nest.js in production environments
- Familiarity with relational databases — MS SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL
- Experience with AWS and CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions preferred)
- Strong prompt engineering skills — able to scope, constrain, and direct AI agents effectively using codebase context and acceptance criteria
Preferred
- Experience with Terraform, Vault, or similar infrastructure tooling
- Familiarity with HTML5 Web Components or jQuery legacy codebases
- Exposure to or interest in progressing towards Level 4 (multi-agent orchestration)
