Job Summary & Responsibilities

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of Networking, and 4+ years of Pre-Sales, experience (preferably with an System Integrator company)

• Strong commercial and technical understanding of Cisco’s products and solutions positioning along with this competitive OEM is a must have

• Experience in using Cisco CCW tool for ENS and Security to create various solution/ BOM is a must have

• Experience supporting enterprise network environments, ideally at larger Enterprise companies (strong preference to experience with Indian customers) is a must have

• Very strong experience in architecting and designing Cisco Networking Solutions (Wired and Wireless both) in line with Industry best practices spanning across Cisco ACI with latest / and greatest product and solution configurations is a must have

• Comprehensive knowledge if not experience is required on Cloud Networking on cloud and associate solutions

• Knowledge of Cisco’s / other OEM’ - Unified Communications, Security, Data Center, Cloud Networking and Storage will be an added advantage. Any additional certifications in these areas would be an added advantage

• Ability to travel up to 25-50% across India

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, product demonstration skills, customer service skills, and one to one a as well as one to many presentation skills are required

• Be prepared to adopt to WWT Culture and get upskilled as and when desired / required by WWT to retain the competitive edge in the market

• Hand on experience in the field during the early stages either as support or services engineer will be an added advantage

• Candidates must be based in Chennai only and should be able to speak the local language

About the role-

As a Consulting Systems Engineer (CSE), you will be partnering with Client Executives to provide the technical Pre-Sales work for our Fortune 500 customers across all verticals. No two days will be the same as our broad offerings include Infrastructure Modernization, Multicloud Architecture, Security Transformation and Digital Strategy among others. With our Advanced Technology Center (https://www.wwt.com/atc) at your fingertips for briefings, training, workshops, demos and POC's you'll be delivering best in class results for your customers.


What will you be doing?

The Consulting Systems Engineer (CSE) role will bring technical Pre-Sales experience to our customers within the local market and as needed for APAC / Global customers on a need basis. Day to day responsibilities will include participation in customer sales meetings, presentations, white board sessions and custom technical design work. The CSE will team with local Client Managers to build customer relationships, partner with multiple OEM's and take part in technical training to provide continued value to the customers. Technical expertise expansion is highly encouraged as you look to learn about new areas of interest and be on the forefront of cutting edge technologies. This position will require the ability to travel up to 25-50%.


Responsibilities:

• Technical Pre-Sales systems engineering supporting Networking and NW Security solution track

• Serve as the technical liaison to all supported clients

• Create Level of Effort Documents, Proof of Concepts, create and validate Solution Bill of Materials, assist in generating Statements of Work

• Create Network design and architecture (Wired and Wireless both across multiple OEM solutions tack)

• Attend business appointments with Account teams

• Estimate labor hours for Professional Services work as and when needed

• Works with clients and WWT Sales team to obtain technical priorities, challenges, and initiatives that can be translated into WWT Network opportunities

• Responsible for the coordination, delivery, and quality of presales technology solution deliverables within the domain of the opportunity which may include items such as configurations, architectural diagrams, and proposals.

• Manages and achieves a gross profit number

• Develops and fosters relationships with strategic original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and key data center partners who are local to your region and/or territory

• Ensures that proposed solutions, when implemented, meet the needs and functional requirements of the customer
