As a Technical Project Manager III in Commercial and Investment Bank's Payments Tech Group, you will help lead complex technology projects and programs that drive business goals and create value for clients, employees, and stakeholders. Applying a broad knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories is essential to developing innovative solutions, along with leveraging analytical reasoning and adaptability skills to navigate through ambiguity and change. Your strong communication abilities will enable you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment on project objectives and governance. Job responsibilities
- Analyze and breakdown complex business, technical, and operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities, applying critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Contribute to the development and implementation of technical solutions, including identifying key technologies or platforms that can solve business goals and managing vendor relations
- Support the optimization of allocated resources, including people, budget, and technology, to effectively plan, schedule, and progress project and/or program initiatives
- Participate in stakeholder management, fostering productive working relationships with cross-functional teams and clients to drive mutually beneficial outcomes
- Assist in risk management by making informed decisions in line with the firm's risk management practices and policies, ensuring project success and compliance
- Lead and facilitate agile transformation initiatives across multiple teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and work across multiple teams for resource allocation, do necessary adjustments in order to effectively deliver projects
- Organize and facilitate Quarterly Planning sessions, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment among teams.
- Coach and mentor junior team members on agile principles, practices, and tools to enhance their effectiveness and delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address impediments to agile adoption and performance.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging experimentation and innovation within teams.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs
- Proven ability to utilize analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down objectives into manageable tasks
- Demonstrated technical proficiency and experience with relevant platforms and software tools/technologies
- Experience in resource optimization and/or resource planning
- Prior experience managing diverse sets of stakeholders, establishing productive working relationships with cross-functional teams, clients and managing project governance
- Able to drive the adoption and scaling of agile practices, including SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or other relevant frameworks.
- Develop and maintain agile roadmaps, ensuring transparency and alignment with business objectives.
- Utilize JIRA and Confluence to manage and track agile projects, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is available to all stakeholders.
- Analyze data and metrics using Excel to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Facilitate estimation and budgeting for various project requests and make sure timely updates are provided to Business stakeholders
- Prepare and manage project budget by making sure efforts are tracked against each initiative and are within approved budget

- Oversee the hiring process for agile teams, including defining role requirements, tracking interviews and supporting onboarding.
- Work closely with HR and external vendors to source and acquire top talent, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and culture.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, ensuring effective collaboration and delivery of services.
