Technical Specialist

Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior Automation Test Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Playwright automation. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in web automation testing, scripting, CI/CD integration, and modern testing frameworks. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setup.

ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright
• Build and execute end-to-end, regression, and smoke test suites
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Developers, Product Owners, DevOps)
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Analyze test results, debug failures, and report issues effectively
• Participate in code reviews and enforce automation best practices
• Ensure test coverage, stability, and scalability of frameworks
• Mentor junior automation engineers (where applicable)

Mandatory Skills

• Playwright – Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience (must have)
• Strong experience with Selenium or other automation tools
• Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript
• Experience with Java (good understanding)
• Hands-on experience in BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber)
• Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and design patterns
• Experience in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Working experience with GitHub / version control systems

QualificationsGood to Have

• Experience in API automation and performance testing
• Exposure to cloud-based testing environments
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodology

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment
