We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Professional with 9–12 years of strong hands-on development experience in PL1 and IMS. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in core mainframe technologies and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Experience in the financial domain will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications.
Perform analysis, coding, testing, and implementation of business requirements.
Work extensively with PL1 and IMS in application development and maintenance.
Develop and support programs using COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, and VSAM.
Conduct impact analysis and provide effective solutions for system enhancements.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business analysts, and stakeholders.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong hands-on experience in PL1 (Must Have)
Strong hands-on experience in IMS (Must Have)
Expertise in COBOL
Experience with CICS
Proficiency in JCL
Working knowledge of DB2
Experience with VSAM
