As a CTIM AWS and Databricks LOB SRE-Platform Operations member, you will manage cloud infrastructure, provide daily support, and collaborate with technology teams to resolve issues efficiently. Your expertise in AWS and Python is crucial for success in this role.
Job Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for AWS & Databricks inquiries or issues.
- Collaborate with technology teams to enhance automation within AWS.
- Identify and implement cost optimization strategies in AWS.
- Focus on continuous service improvement and efficiency enhancement.
- Manage stakeholder communication during technology incidents.
- Document support processes and FAQs to address knowledge gaps.
- Foster relationships with SRE Technology teams and business user community.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Expertise in performing a Data Engineer role. along with good experience of programming with Python/Scala, Spark.
- Hands-on experience in AWS migration and implementation.
- Experience with DevOps CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins).
- Proficiency in AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, Redshift.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Technical knowledge of Unix/Linux platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and understanding of business processes.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Business domain knowledge in Risk Management, Finance, or Compliance.
- Experience with big data architecture (Hadoop stack).
- Hands-on experience in Databricks for data engineering or SRE roles.
- Familiarity with stream-processing systems like Storm, Spark-Streaming.
