We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Test Automation Engineer with Katalon Test skills to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have at the least of 3 years of hands-on experience working with the Katalon, maintaining existing automated scripts, and ensuring the quality and stability of web applications through automation. The role also requires expertise in functional testing of Salesforce applications specially on Sales cloud and running automated regression suites on multiple browsers after every deployment.
The candidate should have a solid understanding of defect tracking (Jira), and regular QA processes, along with the ability to communicate effectively during scrum calls. Good to have knowledge on automating Salesforce Applications.
The candidate should have strong technical knowledge on building Robust Automation Frameworks. Candidates with Strong Knowledge on Framework Development using Selenium and Java / Groovy and interested to work on Katalon can also apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Katalon automation scripts for functional and content testing of web applications using existing framework
- Ensure the test automation framework is up-to-date for each new deployment or build, with necessary updates made to the existing scripts.
- Execute and analyze test results, actively troubleshooting issues and reporting findings to the development team.
- Track and manage defects in Jira, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with the development team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, Product, Scrum Masters) to communicate testing progress, results, and blockers.
- Participate in daily scrum meetings to update team members on test status, current issues, and progress.
- Actively participate in regular QA processes, including test planning, test case reviews, and release planning.
- Perform Functional Testing on Salesforce Applications as and when required.
Preferred to have:
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Bitbucket, GitActions etc.
- Familiarity with other automation frameworks or tools like Selenium, Cucumber or Appium for mobile testing.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Application Testing , Specially in Sales Cloud.
