Position Overview:
Arkose Labs is seeking a skilled Threat Intelligence Researcher and Dark Web Analyst to identify, analyze, and mitigate emerging cyber threats targeting specific companies and our platform. This role combines threat research, intelligence analysis, and actionable insights to enhance Arkose Labs’ security efforts and customer outreach. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and SOC teams to address vulnerabilities, track malicious actors, and deliver impactful solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Threat Analysis & Research: Identify attack packages, phishing templates, and compromised accounts targeting specified companies. Monitor dark web platforms (forums, marketplaces, Telegram, Discord) to gather actionable intelligence.
- Data Collection & Automation: Use SQL for data extraction; write automation scripts (Python, Bash, etc.) for threat analysis; create and maintain dashboards for real-time monitoring.
- Collaboration & Reporting: Work with SOC, Product, and Engineering teams to implement threat mitigations. Deliver weekly summaries, monthly reports, and outreach-ready insights with supporting evidence.
Deliverables:
- Weekly summaries of identified threats with actionable insights.
- Monthly reports analyzing trends and providing outreach-ready insights.
- Dashboards for real-time monitoring and threat intelligence.
Requirements:
- Experience in cyber threat intelligence, dark web research, and web security.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, JavaScript, or Bash.
- Familiarity with browser technologies, phishing methods, and collaboration with SOC teams.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in reverse-engineering and networking tools (e.g., Shodan, Censys).
- Contributions to the security community (blogs, talks, or open-source).
