We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with outstanding talent to join the Creo Technical Product Management Team. Ideal candidates for this role will have expertise in Creo, a passion for advancing technology in PTC’s CAD products and agile development processes, and experience in any of the following: 3D Data Exchange, ECAD/MCAD, Windchill or any PLM software,

Primary Responsibilities:

·        Translate Product Management requirements into detailed product specifications while practicing user-centered design principles and methodologies.

·        Responsible for the design specifications that drive the product backlog.

·        Bring a user perspective to the design of our products, ensuring that we deliver products that our customers want to use.

·        Manage the scope of content within release constraints.

·        Work closely with Product Management, Development, Quality Assurance, User Experience, and User Assistance teams to align on the product road map and provide updates on release progress.

·        Lead to IST (Integrated Scrum Team) activities including planning, tracking, coordinating dependencies, and addressing issues at regular intervals. 

·        Work with ISTs/scrum teams to prioritize backlog while keeping Product Management informed.

·        Responsible for acceptance criteria of backlog.

·        Work with engineering teams to produce delivery estimates for new features and products.

·        Serve as a customer advocate within R&D and address complex technical challenges to solve customer problems.

·        Participate in the vision, design, and implementation of quality products.

·        Participate in team demos and contribute to demos for program stakeholders.

·        Support Technical Support with information for, and reviews, support articles and take care of Technical Support inquiries.

·        Continuously learn new technologies and develop your skills with the guidance of your manager and team

·        Become an expert on our products.

 

Preferred Knowledge and Experience:

·        Expertise in Creo

·        Applied knowledge of product design techniques for highly technical markets.

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·        Comfortable interacting with technical and business professionals at every level.

·        Experience writing specifications, creating product backlogs, prioritizing work, and performing story acceptance.

·        Experience with other CAD tools and related products

·        Demonstrated success in product software development.

·        Additionally, any experience in the following areas would be advantageous:

o   Experience or knowledge of 3D Data Exchange

o   Experience or knowledge of ECAD/MCAD designs and workflows

o   Experience or knowledge of Windchill or any PLM software.

 

Basic Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field / MS preferred.

·        At least 10 years of product design with Creo and/or Software Engineering experience.
