The Role:
Responsible for ensuring value and viability of product investments. Discovering, validating, and delivering product solutions that provide value to our customers and our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- A Product Manager, will focus on:
- Determining the product objectives and outcomes that will drive our business forward.
- Understanding the needs of our customers from both a qualitative & quantitative perspective.
- Discovering the solutions that will deliver the most customer and business value.
- Customer needs (understanding their jobs to be done, pain points, existing challenges across all Treasury roles)
- Become certified to perform day-in-the-life of analysis with customers
- Customer feedback (reviewing ideas, conducting interviews, validating solutions)
- User analytics (measuring system activity, deriving insights on user behavior)
- Sales analytics (understanding loss reasons, RPF analysis, market demand, product gaps)
- Support analytics (identify areas where most questions are raised, instability or issues)
- Stakeholder management (product’s relationship with Product lead, ELT, sales, product marketing)
- Vision, strategy, and objectives and turning those into actionable initiatives
- Trends in technology, competitor solutions, customer expectations, and potential partnerships
- Market regulatory updates and treasury accounting standard changes
- Get involved in market consortiums, be an active speaker on webinars, podcasts, conferences

ION Treasury Product managers play a crucial role in ensuring the right product investments are prioritized and executed to address the most critical needs of customers. Success is measure through customer adoption as customers realize value from the solutions the Product Managers deliver.
Your skills, experience, and qualifications
- Preferred skills:
- Knowledge of Treasury management acquired through minimum experience of four years in treasury operations, financial planning & analysis, treasury technology, or treasury consulting.
- Prior experience in product management, specifically with financial software.
- Relevant degree qualification in numerate subject e.g. mathematics, physics, engineering, quantitative economics/finance.
- Other skills:
- Curious and entrepreneurial
- Confident and bold person.
- Always positive and optimistic who believe in what we do.
- Fluent in English; any other language is an advantage.
- Excellent written and oral communications; poise when speaking with clients
- Client relationship management skills.
