Required Qualifications
• 6–10+ years of experience in backend or platform engineering, delivering production-grade systems at scale.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Python and Java, with deep experience in Spring Boot and JPA/Hibernate.
• Proven capability in designing, developing, and integrating both RESTful and SOAP Web Services, including:
o REST: JSON, OpenAPI/Swagger, OAuth2, rate limiting, versioning, schema validation
o SOAP: WSDL, XSD, SOAP fault handling, XML schema validation, MTOM
• Solid experience with core AWS services, including Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS Aurora PostgreSQL, ElastiCache/Redis, SQS, and EventBridge.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform (modular design, environment separation).
• Strong CI/CD experience with Jenkins, containerization using Docker, and image management via ECR.
• Thorough understanding of cloud and application security, including TLS 1.2/1.3, AWS Secrets Manager, KMS, WAF, and secure coding best practices.
• Experience building asynchronous, event-driven, or messaging-based solutions using SQS and IBM MQ.
• Hands-on experience with operational observability tools: CloudWatch, Grafana, logs, metrics, distributed tracing, and SIEM integrations.
• Strong SQL skills, including schema design, performance tuning, and relational data modeling.

• Experience integrating authentication/authorization using Azure AD with OIDC/OAuth2.
• Background in SOAP-to-REST transformation, service modernization, or migration of legacy enterprise platforms.
• Exposure to performance and load testing tools such as Locust, JMeter, or k6.
• Awareness of FinOps and cost optimization strategies across AWS services.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and CPS 234.
