We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer with expertise in the Gutenberg editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WordPress
themes and plugins, with a particular focus on leveraging native Gutenberg blocks to enhance user experience and streamline content management processes.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring high performance and responsive
design. - Customize and extend the Gutenberg block editor to meet the specific needs of our
projects. - Create reusable and interactive custom blocks using native Gutenberg APIs.
- Optimize website performance and ensure compliance with SEO best practices.
- Collaborate with the design and content teams to implement creative and technical web solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress and the Gutenberg editor.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and updates in WordPress and web development
Requirements :
- Strong experience with WordPress, specifically in developing with the Gutenberg block editor.
- Proficient in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience in creating custom Gutenberg blocks and extending the block editor.
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation.
- Understanding of REST API integrations and AJAX.
- Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working WordPress pages.
- Familiarity with website optimization tools and SEO principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with other page builders like Elementor or Beaver Builder.
- Knowledge of additional programming languages such as React or Vue.js.
- Experience with Git version control and workflow management tools.
- Previous work in a collaborative team environment using Agile methodologies.
