What you will do

As a Wintel Support Specialist at JCI, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our users. Your primary role will involve troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware and software issues for Windows environments.

How you will do it:

  • Provide level 1 and 2 end-user support, managing ticket queues and escalating issues as needed.

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and related applications.

  • Assist users with hardware and software troubleshooting via phone, email, or remote access.

  • Document all support interactions and resolutions within the IT service management system.

  • Participate in onboarding new users by setting up and configuring workstations.

  • Assist in the maintenance and inventory of IT hardware and software.

  • Collaborate with other IT team members to improve support processes and user satisfaction.

Required:

  • 0-1 year of experience in IT support or a related field.

  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and common software applications.

  • Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.

  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues effectively.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with IT service management tools.

  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified) are a plus.
