Leads consultative discovery and solution development for AspenTech customers across Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Power, Mining, and Food & Beverage industries. Partners with sales teams to identify business challenges, demonstrate software capabilities, develop value propositions, create proposals and scopes of work, and support opportunities through solution design and delivery. Requires strong industry, technical, analytical, communication, and consultative expertise, with substantial regional travel across APJ.

Lead the strategy, roadmap, and growth of Aspen EDR heat exchanger design and rating software. Define product vision, pricing, positioning, business cases, and Agile execution while partnering with customers, engineering, marketing, sales, services, and domain experts. Translate heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid flow, and equipment design requirements into software capabilities. Drive customer adoption, innovation, competitive differentiation, strategic partnerships, and successful product launches across global industrial markets.

Lead a high-performing software engineering team developing scalable backend services for industrial automation and IoT. Provide technical direction, mentor developers, guide architecture, coordinate cross-functional work, estimate development efforts, perform automated testing, participate in agile ceremonies, conduct code reviews and pair programming, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery. The role requires hands-on development using C/C++ and/or Lua, along with expertise in software engineering fundamentals, operating systems, concurrency, databases, networking, and application security.
