Design complex PCB layouts for variable speed drives from concept to manufacture. Translate schematics and mechanical constraints into optimized high-speed, mixed-signal power electronics boards. Define stack-ups, layout rules, impedance control, EMC/thermal strategies, perform design reviews, and prepare manufacturing data while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Develop and automate multiphysics simulation workflows for electronic components and PCB assemblies, including EMI/EMC, thermal, signal integrity, and power integrity analysis. Build physics-based models, conduct parametric and sensitivity studies, validate results against experimental or literature data, and document methodologies. Collaborate with hardware, design, and R&D teams while presenting simulation findings and supporting simulation framework development.

Supports metallurgy and materials engineering projects through sample preparation, laboratory testing, material characterization, experimental data analysis, literature reviews, failure analysis, root cause investigations, and technical reporting. The intern contributes to product performance, reliability, and material selection activities while following laboratory safety, quality, and documentation procedures.
