Responsibilities include L2 incident management, root cause analysis, automation, monitoring, server administration, patching, backup validation, observability, alert tuning, runbook maintenance, capacity planning, and performance optimization. The role participates in 24/7 on-call rotations and contributes to reducing MTTR, improving uptime, and eliminating recurring incidents through scripting and reliability engineering.
