Designs and develops scalable cloud-based and serverless software across the company’s platform. Builds prototypes and production services, applies AI throughout the SDLC, promotes modern Agile and Well-Architected practices, troubleshoots customer and internal issues, develops comprehensive test suites, and coaches software engineers. The role requires extensive distributed application experience and backend expertise across multiple programming languages, databases, cloud technologies, integrations, and workflow orchestration.

Design and drive the target-state architecture for a Databricks-native data platform. Define scalable ingestion, governance, security, analytics, and reliability standards while delivering hands-on proofs of concept with SQL, PySpark, and Python. Partner with product, operations, and engineering teams to align platform investments with business needs, reduce technical debt and total cost of ownership, mentor engineers, evaluate technologies, and support AI-powered development and data analytics capabilities.

Lead architecture and development of customer-facing AI agents and multi-agent "Super Agents," design agent orchestration and automated workflow frameworks, drive LLM integration and prompt engineering best practices, provide technical leadership across cloud-native backend systems, and mentor senior engineers to productionize AI-driven solutions at scale.
