Designs, models, validates, and coordinates FACTS, STATCOM, SVC, and HVDC power systems. Performs grid contingency, relay coordination, insulation coordination, and subsynchronous resonance studies using PSCAD, RSCAD, PSS/E, and RTDS. Reviews technical documents, develops STATCOM design concepts, manages budgets and timelines, coordinates with clients and consultants, and resolves engineering issues.

Leads primary design and engineering for high-voltage GIS switchgear, interpreting customer specifications, preparing electrical drawings, resolving technical queries, and ensuring IEC compliance. Coordinates with clients, vendors, and internal teams while guiding engineers and supporting project execution. Requires electrical engineering expertise, substantial switchgear or substation experience, strong GIS and IEC knowledge, troubleshooting ability, and design-team coordination skills.

Design and develop mechanical components, layouts, and manufacturing drawings for distribution and power transformers. Create 2D AutoCAD layouts and 3D solid models, interpret customer specifications and international standards, optimize transformer components such as tanks, and produce accurate drawings using established checklists. The role also requires collaboration, problem solving, communication, and adherence to manufacturing requirements.
