What It's Like to Work at inKind

inKind Employee Reviews

Working at inKind means getting to solve interesting, complex problems alongside genuinely great people. The team is smart, inclusive, and collaborative, and there’s a shared sense of pride in what we’re building. We truly care about creating products that benefit our restaurant partners and delight consumers, and that intention shows up in the work every day. Pair that with great perks, an incredible restaurant network, and a dog-friendly office, and it’s an environment that’s both meaningful and fun to be part of.

Working at inKind has been an incredibly rewarding experience. The team is driven, supportive, and genuinely passionate about helping restaurants thrive. Everyone is encouraged to share ideas, ask questions, and grow together, which creates an environment built on trust and curiosity. We celebrate wins along the way, learn from challenges, and move forward as one team. It is energizing to work alongside people who care deeply about what they do and who make work both meaningful and fun.

I've been at inKind for almost three and a half years as a Senior Backend Engineer, primarily focused on building new point-of-sale (POS) integrations. inKind is genuinely mission-driven. We're focused on helping restaurants, and you can see that purpose show up every day in the work people do here. One of the most exciting parts of my time at inKind has been watching the company grow and mature while still staying lean. The engineering team moves at a fast pace, and because teams are small, people have real ownership and can make meaningful contributions quickly.

InKind has been an incredible place to collaborate with multiple teams and learn from smart people daily. It feels like we are all aligned in our mission to help operators and the people here are always willing to find a way to be creative and think outside the box. I have enjoyed the energy, flexibility, and support that leadership offers. With any project I've worked on I've been able to tap the minds of others and it really feels like people are in your corner to help you succeed.

Working at inKind is fast-paced, collaborative, and truly people-first. My favorite part of working in the Onboarding department at inKind, is getting to work alongside supportive teammates while partnering with a wide range of hospitality groups, meeting new restaurant teams, learning their stories, and helping bring them live on our platform. At inKind, there’s a strong sense of teamwork, real ownership over your work, and the added joy of being surrounded by great food!

Working at inKind means being part of a team that’s genuinely building something special. We’re made up of driven, thoughtful people who care deeply about moving the business forward together. Built over long hours and shared meals, our culture celebrates wins as well as emphasizes the impact we make in our communities. inKind creates meaningful opportunities for people who want to grow fast, take ownership, and have a tangible impact on the business. The best part? The food, of course. Experiencing great food and hospitality is part of the inKind ethos.

What drew me to inKind is the people and the culture. Our values, especially the “triple win” mindset and "share a meal," align closely with what matters to me. I love being part of a strong and supportive women’s cohort along with fun events planned by the share-a-meal committee. Small moments make a big difference here too, like looking forward to colleagues bringing in fresh bread every Monday. I’m a cat person at heart, but I enjoy making friends with all the office dogs. Most importantly, I have a manager who genuinely invests in my growth, and supports my goals for the future.

I started at inKind in 2022, and it continues to be such a fun experience because of the incredible product we have, all of the amazing restaurants we get to work with and the extremely talented and funny team I get to work with. As a member of the marketing team, I get to work on a wide range of projects, which allows each day, week and month to never be the same. I’ve found my closest group of friends through working here and it’s truly a joy to work with my team. Bringing in my dog Mickey everyday has its added bonus, despite him bullying everyone in the office for food.
