I enjoy having the opportunity to mentor and lead talented students in Data & Analytics. Providing them enriching experiences in agriculture and technology, and seeing how they contribute and grow, motivates me to put my best foot forward every day.

Work life balance at Deere is incredible. Working remotely gives me the flexibility to truly balance my personal and professional life. Having the opportunity to workout or do a load of laundry over my lunch break one day and then meeting up with my team in one of our office locations the next day is just the cherry on top.

From Day 1, Deere has made a concerted effort to map out potential paths for my career within the company. Technical training is provided and encouraged, and career growth and promotions are frequently discussed with my manager. It is just up to me to choose what is next!

My team is improving digital tool experiences by understanding user needs and behavior. When you make your digital solutions, you want to know how your end-users will use and feel about it. Studying your target audiences prior to the digital product development, which is a user-centered design, will enable you to make the product that people love.

Even in an highly empowered team, we all develop habits and go-to ways of thinking. To encourage additional creativity, I ask the team to expand their thinking by collaborating more broadly, enumerating additional options for solving the problem or discussing the best “no constraints” approach.
